« Infinite Rats », the 6th and final single taken from the 8th album « DISCO INFINITO » was released on Friday, September 5th 2025.
It contains the following tracks :

Just like the 2nd album « SOLAR LIVES », the 8th album « DISCO INFINITO » was also supposed to have only 5 singles but ended up having 6 in the end.
In the case of « SOLAR LIVES » it was because the track « The Road To Who You Really Are » was originally made to be a b-side but was so good that it finally ended being a 6th single.
In the case of « DISCO INFINITO », it was the exact same thing with « Infinite Rats ». A lot of people prefered « Infinite Rats » to « Infinite Star » but I really wanted « Infinite Star » to be a single as well, so I thought to myself, why choose. Let’s make them both singles. And that’s just what i did.
Like with the single of « Infinite Star », the record sleeve had to be amended for music platforms that demanded the name of the artist on the sleeve, so here is the alternate cover but for me, only the first one counts.
I was quite excited about making an extended « disco mix » for « Infinite Rats » since I love this music so much so I made it pretty epic. I just love those sounds.
The extra-track « Infinite Animal » was made much later after the album was recorded so it was kind of a rushed affair but I love how it sounds in the end.
It’s worth noticing that almost all the extra-tracks from the album « DISCO INFINITO » were much more techno-sounding that the original songs of the album. I don’t know why that is. But « Rats » & « Star » being the last singles, it’s fitting, I guess.
I could have pursed in that super techno, super electronic way for the next album but I didn’t. The next album is quite techno as well, yes. Probably my most techno-sounding album, but it’s nowhere near as electronic.
There is one song on the next album which is very, very electronic (it’s called « Prophetic Dreams ») but the rest of the album, not so much.
If I used intensively digital software sequencers FL Studio & Studio One for the recording of the album « DISCO INFINITO », I used Samplitude instead for the next album because I wanted a more techno/cold sound and less electronic
I already used Samplitude on a previous album called « SUPERSONIC » which I might release one day as a free album and back then I already liked his nice sounds. So I was pretty excited to use it again to produce the new sound of the next album.
Everyone might be relieved to learn that « Infinite Rats » marks the end of the era of the tracks whose names starts with « Infinite », ah ah.
The next single will be called « King Of The Night » and it will also be the title of the 9th album. The next single will be released by the end of the month and the album will follow in early October.

« Infinite Rats » le 6ème et dernier single extrait du 8ème album « DISCO INFINITO » est sorti le vendredi 5 septembre 2025.

Tout comme pour le 2ème album « SOLAR LIVES », Le 8ème album « DISCO INFINITO » ne devait comporter lui aussi que 5 singles mais il a fini par en avoir 6 au bout du compte.
Dans le cas de l’album « SOLAR LIVES » c’était parce que le titre « The Road To Who You Really Are » devait être une face B ou un titre bonus de single à l’origine mais le titre étant tellement bon il a fini non seulement par intégrer l’album puis par en devenir un des singles « imprévus »
Pour l’album « DISCO INFINITO », c’était exactement pareil avec le titre « Infinite Rats ». Beaucoup de personnes de mon entourage préféraient « Infinite Rats » à « Infinite Star » mais je voulais vraiment que « Infinite Star » soit un single aussi alors je me suis pourquoi choisir ? J’ai donc sorti les deux.
Comme pour le single de « Infinite Star », la pochette a dû être modifiée pour les sites de streaming et de téléchargements légaux qui exigeaient que le nom de l’artiste soit sur la pochette, donc voici sa version alternative, mais pour moi, seule l’originale compte.
J’étais très impatient de faire une version longue « disco mix » pour « Infinite Rats » car j’adore vraiment cette musique, ses sons sont assez magiques je trouve.
Le titre bonus « Infinite Animal » présent dans ce single a été écrit bien plus tard que l’album donc il a été écrit dans la précipitation mais il a assez bien tourné quand même je trouve.
Il est intéressant de noter que presque tous les titres bonus des singles de l’album « DISCO INFINITO » ont fini par avoir un son vraiment très techno et éléctronique, bien plus que les titres de l’album mais comme « Rats » & « Star » étaient les derniers singles, ils vont bien avec.
J’aurais pu continuer sur ce type de son très électronique et très techno pour le prochain album mais ce n’est pas vraiment ce que j’ai fait. Le prochain album sera assez techno également mais beaucoup moins électronique.
Il y aura un titre sur le prochain album qui sera très très électronique (il s’appellera « Prophetic Dreams ») mais le reste de l’album bien que techno sera moins électronique que ce titre-là.
Si j’ai intensivement utiliser les séquenceurs logiciels numériques FL Studio et Studio One pour produire l’album « DISCO INFINITO », pour le prochain album j’ai choisi d’utiliser Samplitude à la place car je voulais un son plus techno et froid encore mais un peu moins électronique.
J’avais déjà utilisé Samplitude par le passé pour un album appelé « SUPERSONIC » qui paraitra peut-être un jour en album gratuit et j’avais déjà pu apprécié ses sons très sympas. Aussi j’étais très excité à l’idée de l’utiliser à nouveau pour produire un nouveau son pour le prochain album.
Tout le monde sera sans doute soulagé d’apprendre que « Infinite Rats » marque la fin de ma période où tous les titres commencent par le mot « Infinite », ah ah.
Le prochain single s’appellera « King Of The Night » et ce sera également le titre du nouvel album. Le single sortira d’ici la fin du mois de septembre. L’album quant à lui, suivra début octobre.
