Generally when an album is done being written, I play it to death for myself during about six months after that I stop. And writting is resumed for a brand new album a few weeks later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However if the last track written for the last album \u00ab\u00a0RED SUN\u00a0\u00bb was written in September of 2023, written for the album \u00ab\u00a0ELECTROSHOCK THERAPY\u00a0\u00bb only resumed 8 months later in May of 2024 which suggest a little writer’s block on my part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there was also a writer’s block during the writing of this album mid-way through. After having written all 6 or 7 first tracks, I had a little writer’s block. But fortunately it only lasted for a few days and after that writing of the album was completely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But these tracks were so good that I didn’t want so so tracks to ruined the whole package. And even if I really think that tracks 2, 5 and 7 are not that exceptionnal, I’ve very proud of all the other tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the very first time I used sounds, drums and softwares used to produce exclusively EDM, electro and hyper pop and it shows I think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love the drums on \u00ab\u00a0I Still Love You\u00a0\u00bb, my friends say this drum slaps. \u00ab\u00a0A Beguiling Future\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Freed From My Chains\u00a0\u00bb are super electronic musics that could easily have fit on the previous album since they’re a little dark too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But all the other tracks are very bouncy and playful like \u00ab\u00a0(I Wanna Do) Right By You\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0I Was The Lucky One\u00a0\u00bb or \u00ab\u00a0She Is Never Satisfied\u00a0\u00bb. Without forgetting of course the smashing and brutal \u00ab\u00a0The Vampire Bride\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most surprising works of this album is probably the track called \u00ab\u00a0Nothing Will Ruin My Day Today\u00a0\u00bb which the melody sounds like Irish ballad but on techno stero\u00efds thanks to techno-ey drums and sounds. Truly unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This album was written mainly and May and June of 2024. For the b-sides and extra-tracks of the singles recording extended to half of July 2024 as well. But this album was so good to me that a lot of the songs that came long after that were not deemed worthy and following this up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you make an album that is this good where almost one out of 2 tracks is almost single-worthy material you can’t follow it up with something that might be just average. That’s why for many months after the recoding of this album I thought there would be no successor to it. Even though it eventually happened. But not before May of 2025, a full year after the writing of \u00ab\u00a0The Vampire Bride\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many months \u00ab\u00a0The Vampire Bride\u00a0\u00bb was considered to be the last track of the album. It’s only 3 or 4 months before it’s released that I decided to add the remix of \u00ab\u00a0City Of Dreams\u00a0\u00bb as a bonus track not to end the album with a track as brutal as \u00ab\u00a0The Vampire Bride\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though \u00ab\u00a0City Of Dreams\u00a0\u00bb was written on July 25th of 2024 a full month after \u00ab\u00a0The Vampire Bride\u00a0\u00bb which was written between June 9th and June 11th, it was released before. So it’s really the logical next step that’s why I decided to add \u00ab\u00a0City Of Dreams\u00a0\u00bb at the end of the album. It allows the album to end in a smoother and cool way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement lorsque j’ai fini de composer un nouvel album, je l’\u00e9coute \u00e0 mort pendant 6 mois, puis j’arr\u00eate. Et quelques semaines plus tard \u00e0 peine, je commence la compostion de nouveaux titres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais si le dernier titre \u00e9crit pour l’album \u00ab\u00a0RED SUN\u00a0\u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 compos\u00e9 en septembre 2023, les premiers titres \u00e9crits pour l’album \u00ab\u00a0ELECTROSHOCK THERAPY\u00a0\u00bb n’ont commenc\u00e9 que 8 mois plus tard en mai 2024, ce qui tend \u00e0 sugg\u00e9rer que j’ai eu un peu un petit blocage ou manque d’inspiration \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et il y a eu m\u00eame pour moi pour la premi\u00e8re fois un petit manque d’inspiration en plein milieu de l’enregistrement de cet album. Apr\u00e8s avoir fait les 6 ou 7 premiers titres, j’ai du attendre plusieurs semaines avant que l’inspiration ne revienne pour finir les derniers titres de cet album. .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais les titres de cet album sont tellement bons que je ne voulais pas que des titres passables viennent g\u00e2cher l’ensemble. Et m\u00eame si je consid\u00e8re que les titres 2, 5 et 7 ne sont pas extraordinaires, je suis en revanche tr\u00e8s fier de tous les autres titres de ce disque. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

J’adore la batterie sur le titre \u00ab\u00a0I Still Love You\u00a0\u00bb (je t’aime toujours), mes amis disent que cette batterie-l\u00e0, elle claque, lol. \u00ab\u00a0A Beguiling Future\u00a0\u00bb (un avenir s\u00e9duisant) et \u00ab\u00a0Freed From My Chains\u00a0\u00bb (lib\u00e9r\u00e9 de mes cha\u00eenes) sont super \u00e9lectroniques et un peu sombres, donc ils auraient tr\u00e8s bien pu figurer sur l’album pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent je pense. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En revanche, tous les autres titres sont sautillants et tr\u00e8s positifs comme par exemple \u00ab\u00a0(I Wanna Do) Right By You\u00a0\u00bb (je veux te traiter bien comme il faut), \u00ab\u00a0I Was The Lucky One\u00a0\u00bb (j’\u00e9tais le chanceux) ou \u00ab\u00a0She Is Never Satisfied\u00a0\u00bb (elle n’est jamais contente) .Sans oublier le ph\u00e9nom\u00e9nal et brutal \u00ab\u00a0The Vampire Bride\u00a0\u00bb (la mari\u00e9e du vampire).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un des morceaux les plus surprenants de cet album est tr\u00e8s certainement le titre appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Nothing Will Ruin My Day Today\u00a0\u00bb (rien ne g\u00e2chera ma journ\u00e9e d’aujourd’hui) dont la m\u00e9lodie ressemble presque \u00e0 une ballade irlandaise mais version tehno car les sons et la batterie, eux sonnent tr\u00e8s techno, une curiosit\u00e9 que ce titre vraiment unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cet album a \u00e9t\u00e9 principalement \u00e9crit et compos\u00e9 entre mai et juin 2024. Pour les face B et les titres bonus \u00e0 para\u00eetre sur les singles, l’enregistrement s’est poursuivi jusqu’\u00e0 mi-juillet 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais j’ai trouv\u00e9 cet album tellement excellent puisque c’est un album o\u00f9 presque un titre sur deux serait presque digne de para\u00eetre en single que pendant tr\u00e8s longtemps je ne lui imaginais pas de successeur. Et tous les \u00e9crits qui furent \u00e9crits apr\u00e8s, beaucoup ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tout bonnement et simplement refus\u00e9s par moi car je ne les estimais pas dignes de sortir apr\u00e8s cet album tant cet album est excellent pour moi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00eame si un successeur finira par arriver mais pas avant le mois de mai 2025 pour le premier titre compos\u00e9 ensuite que j’estimais valable soit pr\u00e8s d’un an complet apr\u00e8s la fin de l’\u00e9criture de \u00ab\u00a0The Vampire Bride\u00a0\u00bb (la mari\u00e9e du vampire).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pendant plusieurs mois j’ai vraiment pens\u00e9 finir l’album avec le titre \u00ab\u00a0The Vampire Bride\u00a0\u00bb. Ce n’est que 3 ou 4 mois seulement avant sa sortie que j’ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d’ajouter en bonus le remix du titre \u00ab\u00a0City Of Dreams\u00a0\u00bb pour ne pas finir l’album sur un titre aussi tonitruant et brutal que \u00ab\u00a0The Vampire Bride\u00a0\u00bb (la mari\u00e9e du vampire).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00eame si \u00ab\u00a0City Of Dreams\u00a0\u00bb (la cit\u00e9 des r\u00eaves) a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crit le 25 juillet 2024 soit un mois entier apr\u00e8s \u00ab\u00a0The Vampire Bride\u00a0\u00bb qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crit entre le 9 et le 11 juin 2024, il est pourtant sorti juste avant. Mais c’est la suite logique de cet album c’est pour \u00e7a que j’ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de rajouter \u00ab\u00a0City Of Dreams\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 la fin de l’album pour le finir d’une mani\u00e8re plus douce et cool. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
