This retrospective compiles all the b-sides\/extra tracks of all the singles from single 36 \u00ab\u00a0Karma Drama\u00a0\u00bb released on Friday, December 6th 2024 to single 56 \u00ab\u00a0We Will Make You Proud \u00a0\u00bb released on Friday, July 10th 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are some soft and beautiful tracks here like \u00ab\u00a0Alone But Not Lonely\u00a0\u00bb the extra-track from the single \u00ab\u00a0Play My Way\u00a0\u00bb or \u00ab\u00a0Infinite Lamb\u00a0\u00bb the extra-track from the single \u00ab\u00a0Infinite Luck\u00a0\u00bb but also one of my all-time favorite tracks \u00ab\u00a0Out Of Time\u00a0\u00bb the b-side of the single \u00ab\u00a0Modern Age\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0Out Of Time\u00a0\u00bb is so soft and delicate that it’s one my tracks that people not only listen to but also often BUY and I’m very pleased with that : to see that this music is special not just for me but also for people outside of my inner-circle. That’s makes it even more extra special to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tracks 5 to 10 were b-sides\/extra-tracks of singles from the album \u00ab\u00a0DISCO INFINITO\u00a0\u00bb and they are quite techno in style, when the album was not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand tracks 12 to 15 which were b-sides from the singles of the album \u00ab\u00a0KING OF THE NIGHT\u00a0\u00bb are more 80’s music inspired, unliked the album too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes b-sides or extra-tracks are the music where I experiment the most. I’m more bold and confident in there in my music-making so to speak. It often allows me to go to directions where I couldn’t go on an album or a single where you’re most supposed to do hits and things that will appeal to most people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whereas in extra-tracks I can go completely nuts if I want to. Even though most of the time it results in beautiful and sometimes more laid-back musics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some tracks like the almost symphonic \u00ab\u00a0Cold Hard Facts\u00a0\u00bb would have never been created in the context of an album cut. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among my favorite of these tracks there are the hard hitting \u00ab\u00a0Queen Of My Dreams\u00a0\u00bb, the unusual \u00ab\u00a0Cold Hard Facts\u00a0\u00bb the soft tune \u00ab\u00a0Out Of Time\u00a0\u00bb, the melodic \u00ab\u00a0When The Sky Goes Red\u00a0\u00bb and the uplifting \u00ab\u00a0The Happy Pill\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il y a des titres doux et tr\u00e8s beaux dans cette compilation comme par exemple \u00ab\u00a0Alone But Not Lonely\u00a0\u00bb (seul mais pas solitaire) le titre bonus du single \u00ab\u00a0Play My Way\u00a0\u00bb (joue \u00e0 ma fa\u00e7on) ou encore \u00ab\u00a0Infinite Lamb\u00a0\u00bb (l’agneau infini) le titre bonus du single \u00ab\u00a0Infinite Luck\u00a0\u00bb (chance infinie) mais aussi un de mes titres pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9s \u00ab\u00a0Out Of Time\u00a0\u00bb (hors du temps) : la face B du single \u00ab\u00a0Modern Age\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0Out Of Time\u00a0\u00bb est un titre doux et d\u00e9licat que non seulement ceux qui appr\u00e9cient ma musique \u00e9coutent mais aussi l’ach\u00e8tent et \u00e7a me rend tr\u00e8s heureux : de voir qu’une de mes musiques n’est pas seulement sp\u00e9ciale pour moi mais aussi pour des personnes qui sortent de mon cercle intime. Cela rend ce morceau encore plus pr\u00e9cieux et sp\u00e9cial pour moi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les titres 5 \u00e0 10 \u00e9taient des face B ou titres bonus des singles extraits de l’album \u00ab\u00a0DISCO INFINITO\u00a0\u00bb et sont des titres assez techno alors que l’album, lui ne n’\u00e9tait pas vraiment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

De l’autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 du spectre, on retrouve les titres 12 ) 15 qui \u00e9taient, eux, des singles extraits de l’album \u00ab\u00a0KING OF THE NIGHT\u00a0\u00bb qui sonnent beaucoup plus comme des musiques des ann\u00e9es 80 alors que l’album n’avait pas du tout cette ambiance non plus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parfois les faces B ou les titres bonus sont des musiques o\u00f9 je me permet de beaucoup plus exp\u00e9rimenter des choses que je n’oserais sans doute pas exp\u00e9rimenter dans le cadre de la production d’un album ou d’un single o\u00f9 je me sens plus l’obligation de faire des musiques conventionnelles capables de plaire au plus grand nombre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alors que dans le cadre de la composition de ces titres bonus, l’album \u00e9tait termin\u00e9 et \u00e0 part, d\u00e9j\u00e0 sanctuaris\u00e9, je me permet plus de folies musicales, si je puis dire. Mais \u00e7a donne parfois des musiques plus calmes, plus reposantes et m\u00eame parfois plus belles mais \u00e9tonnantes en tous cas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certains titres comme le presque symphonique \u00ab\u00a0Cold Hard Facts\u00a0\u00bb (les faits et rien que les faits) n’auraient sans doute jamais vu le jour dans le cadre strict de la production de titres pour un de mes albums. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parmi mes titres favoris dans ces morceaux, on peut retrouver le tr\u00e8s percutant \u00ab\u00a0Queen Of My Dreams\u00a0\u00bb (reine de mes r\u00eaves), le tr\u00e8s inhabituel \u00ab\u00a0Cold Hard Facts\u00a0\u00bb, le tr\u00e8s doux \u00ab\u00a0Out Of Time\u00a0\u00bb, le m\u00e9lodieux \u00ab\u00a0When The Sky Goes Red\u00a0\u00bb ou encore le tr\u00e8s enjou\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0The Happy Pill\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
