On Friday, June 5th 2026, \u00ab Chip On Your Shoulder \u00bb the 5th and final single taken from the 10th album \u00ab RED SUN \u00bb was released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It contains the following tracks : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. CHIP ON YOUR SHOULDER remix 3:31
2. THE HAPPY PILL 2:50
3. CHIP ON YOUR SHOULDER extended dance mix 5:51<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On track 1 the single remixed version which is shortened by 30 seconds. On track 2 you can find the previously unreleased joyous track \u00ab The Happy Pill \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And on track 3 there’s the usual extended version of track 1 which expands it to almost 6 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love the sounds used on \u00ab Chip On Your Shoulder \u00bb, they are very beautiful including the electronic zap one. I think they all came from the Serum software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This song is soft and reminiscent of 80’s music at the same time, it’s very special. That’s why I released it as a single when more obvious choices could have been made like \u00ab Lightning In My Mind \u00bb or \u00ab My Escape In The Air \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since \u00ab Chip On Your Shoulder \u00bb was quite melancholic I wanted a very uplifting b-side to go along with it, hence the very quirky and bouncing \u00ab The Happy Pill \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le vendredi 5 juin est sorti \u00ab Chip On Your Shoulder \u00bb le 5\u00e8me et dernier extrait du 10\u00e8me album \u00ab RED SUN \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En titre 1 on trouve la version remix du single qui est raccourcie de 30 secondes par rapport \u00e0 la version album. En titre 2 on trouve l’in\u00e9dit joyeux et sautillant \u00ab The Happy Pill \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enfin en titre 3 on retrouve, comme souvent la version longue du titre 1 qui rallonge le morceau jusqu’\u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 6 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J’aime beaucoup les sons utilis\u00e9s sur \u00ab Chip On Your Shoulder \u00bb, ils sont tr\u00e8s beaux je trouve y compris le son de zap \u00e9lectronique. Je pense que ces sons venaient tous du synth\u00e9 logiciel Serum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce titre est tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able \u00e0 \u00e9couter car il est doux et sonne aussi tr\u00e8s ann\u00e9es 80 ce qui le rend tr\u00e8s sp\u00e9cial. C’est la raison pour laquelle je l’ai choisi pour sortir en single l\u00e0 o\u00f9 d’autres titres auraient plus \u00e9vidents auraient aussi pu \u00eatre choisis tels que \u00ab Lightning In My Mind \u00bb ou \u00ab My Escape In The Air \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comme \u00ab Chip On Your Shoulder \u00bb est un titre assez m\u00e9lancolique je voulais pour contrebalancer un titre 2 plus joyeux et sautillant, d’o\u00f9 la cr\u00e9ation du titre \u00ab The Happy Pill \u00bb sp\u00e9cifiquement comme bonus pour ce single.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
