On Friday, May 1st 2026 \u00ab High Energy Cure \u00bb the 4th single taken from the 10th album \u00ab RED SUN \u00bb was released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab High Energy Cure \u00bb is not doubt the best track on the album \u00ab RED SUN \u00bb, that’s why it was saved for last track on the album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve got not shame at all in admitting that my inspiration for this track was the song \u00ab Don’t Go \u00bb by Yazoo. My sister and I always loved this song since it was released in the early 80’s. But I also added my personal touch which makes this track truly unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating a song that could almost match its power for the b-side as extra-track was a challenge. But I stay in the health departement for the theme and the great \u00ab The Only Good Remedy \u00bb is almost as good. I love it very much too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time though, the extended version isn’t on this single, it features on the CD 2 single \u00ab High Energy Cure Remixes \u00bb that will be released 2 weeks from the release date of CD 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As 3rd track on this single, I’ve added a shortened version of the track \u00ab At Least You’ve Got Your Health \u00bb : another track about health that was track 10 on the album but was just a little bit longer there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you do an album you always want to do long tracks to let the songs breathe but then when you want to hear them from day to day, sometimes intros and outros are not as welcome, that’s why I’ve made this shorten mix of it : more ideal for repeated listens I think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab High Energy Cure \u00bb est sans aucun doute le meilleur morceau de l’album \u00ab RED SUN \u00bb, c’est la raison pour laquelle j’ai choisi de fini l’album avec ce titre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je n’ai aucune honte \u00e0 admettre que je me suis inspir\u00e9 du titre \u00ab Don’t Go \u00bb de Yazoo pour ce morceau. Ma soeur et moi avons toujours ador\u00e9 ce morceau depuis sa sortie au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 80. Mais j’ai aussi ajout\u00e9 ma touche personnelle \u00e0 ce morceau, qui le rend compl\u00e8tement unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Du coup cr\u00e9er une face B ou un titre suppl\u00e9mentaire pour l’accompagner sur ce single \u00e9tait un sacr\u00e9 challenge. Mais le titre \u00ab The Only Good Remedy \u00bb dont le th\u00e8me reste les m\u00e9dicaments est presque aussi bon et efficace, je l’aime aussi beaucoup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette fois-ci cependant, la version longue du titre principal ne se trouve pas sur ce single. Elle se trouvera sur le 2\u00e8me single d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 para\u00eetre dans 15 jours et qui s’appellera \u00ab High Energy Cure Remixes \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A la place pour le 3\u00e8me titre de ce single, j’ai rajout\u00e9 une version courte du titre 10 de l’album appel\u00e9 : \u00ab At Least You’ve Got Your Health \u00bb : encore un titre sur la sant\u00e9 et\/ou les m\u00e9dicaments. La version album \u00e9tait juste un tout petit peu plus longue que cette version-ci.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En effet, quand on fait un album on aime bien faire des titres plus longs pour les album pour laisser le temps au morceau de respirer et de se d\u00e9velopper peu \u00e0 peu. Puis quand on veut r\u00e9-\u00e9couter le morceau plus tard, parfois les intros ou les outros ne sont plus les bienvenues d’o\u00f9 ce mix plus court plus adapt\u00e9es \u00e0 des \u00e9coutes r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es je pense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
