03. MODERN AGE 3:25

After the more easy-listening « DISCO INFINITO » album, I decided to use the music sequencer software Samplitude to do a complete dark techno-dance album.

I already used Samplitude in the past back in 2016-2017 when I made an album called « SUPERSONIC » which will be released next month as a free album.

Since I appreciated its sounds and rhythms beats I wanted to make a brand new album with it. Funny thing is « KING OF THE NIGHT » turned out to be much more dark than « SUPERSONIC » was. But I like them both very much.

« KING OF THE NIGHT » is not all about techno-dance though. Tracks 7 « Dots Your I’s And Cross Your T’s » and 8 « The Devil In A Three-Piece Suit » are 2 musical oddball surprises.

Once a friend of mine told me I should do a Christmas album or a Christmas song. And even though I tried, I failed miserably but I guess now that « Dots Your I’s And Cross Your T’s » is the closest I’ve got to a Christmas song, well almost. It sounds like a Christmas song to me at least.

My favorite song on the album « KING OF THE NIGHT » is the title song but I’m also very found of « Prophetic Dreams » and « Modern Age ».

I hope everyone will like this album as much as I had fun making it. But I must admit it’s with « 5 » one of my darkest albums even though it has dance/pop elements like in « King Of The Night » or « A Friend Like Me ».

But since it covers almost only one musical genre, this album might not fit everyone’s taste. If you don’t like techno for instance, you might skip this one and wait for the next which will have many more different musicals genres and styles in it. And it will be a much more general-public friendly album.

KING OF THE NIGHT

Le vendredi 3 octobre est sorti le 9ème album appelé : « KING OF THE NIGHT ».

""

Il contient les titres suivants :

01. KING OF THE NIGHT 3:08
02. A FRIEND LIKE ME 3:20
03. MODERN AGE 3:25
04. SO SICK OF YOU TOO 3:41
05. LIKE A WARRIOR OF LOVE

06. READY FOR ANOTHER WORLD 3:32
07. DOTS YOUR I’S AND CROSS YOUR T’S 3:48
08. THE DEVIL IN A THREE-PIECE SUIT 3:42
09. ON YOUR OWN VOLITION 4:01
10. PROPHETIC DREAMS 5:44

11. KING OF THE NIGHT [ EXTENDED MIX ] 6:15

Mais l’album « KING OF THE NIGHT » n’est pas uniquement composé de titres techno/dance is not all about techno-dance. Les titres 7 « Dots Your I’s And Cross Your T’s » and 8 « The Devil In A Three-Pice Suits » sont 2 surprises musicales.

https://theeditking.bandcamp.com/album/king-of-the-night-album-9
