\u00ab Infinite Rats \u00bb, the 6th and final single taken from the 8th album \u00ab DISCO INFINITO \u00bb was released on Friday, September 5th 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like the 2nd album \u00ab SOLAR LIVES \u00bb, the 8th album \u00ab DISCO INFINITO \u00bb was also supposed to have only 5 singles but ended up having 6 in the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of \u00ab SOLAR LIVES \u00bb it was because the track \u00ab The Road To Who You Really Are \u00bb was originally made to be a b-side but was so good that it finally ended being a 6th single.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of \u00ab DISCO INFINITO \u00bb, it was the exact same thing with \u00ab Infinite Rats \u00bb. A lot of people prefered \u00ab Infinite Rats \u00bb to \u00ab Infinite Star \u00bb but I really wanted \u00ab Infinite Star \u00bb to be a single as well, so I thought to myself, why choose. Let’s make them both singles. And that’s just what i did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like with the single of \u00ab Infinite Star \u00bb, the record sleeve had to be amended for music platforms that demanded the name of the artist on the sleeve, so here is the alternate cover but for me, only the first one counts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was quite excited about making an extended \u00ab disco mix \u00bb for \u00ab Infinite Rats \u00bb since I love this music so much so I made it pretty epic. I just love those sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The extra-track \u00ab Infinite Animal \u00bb was made much later after the album was recorded so it was kind of a rushed affair but I love how it sounds in the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s worth noticing that almost all the extra-tracks from the album \u00ab DISCO INFINITO \u00bb were much more techno-sounding that the original songs of the album. I don’t know why that is. But \u00ab Rats \u00bb & \u00ab Star \u00bb being the last singles, it’s fitting, I guess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I could have pursed in that super techno, super electronic way for the next album but I didn’t. The next album is quite techno as well, yes. Probably my most techno-sounding album, but it’s nowhere near as electronic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is one song on the next album which is very, very electronic (it’s called \u00ab Prophetic Dreams \u00bb) but the rest of the album, not so much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I used intensively digital software sequencers FL Studio & Studio One for the recording of the album \u00ab DISCO INFINITO \u00bb, I used Samplitude instead for the next album because I wanted a more techno\/cold sound and less electronic<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I already used Samplitude on a previous album called \u00ab SUPERSONIC \u00bb which I might release one day as a free album and back then I already liked his nice sounds. So I was pretty excited to use it again to produce the new sound of the next album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone might be relieved to learn that \u00ab Infinite Rats \u00bb marks the end of the era of the tracks whose names starts with \u00ab Infinite \u00bb, ah ah. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next single will be called \u00ab King Of The Night \u00bb and it will also be the title of the 9th album. The next single will be released by the end of the month and the album will follow in early October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But in the meantime this 3-track single is available to hear or buy on my Bandcamp site : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tout comme pour le 2\u00e8me album \u00ab SOLAR LIVES \u00bb, Le 8\u00e8me album \u00ab DISCO INFINITO \u00bb ne devait comporter lui aussi que 5 singles mais il a fini par en avoir 6 au bout du compte. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans le cas de l’album \u00ab SOLAR LIVES \u00bb c’\u00e9tait parce que le titre \u00ab The Road To Who You Really Are \u00bb devait \u00eatre une face B ou un titre bonus de single \u00e0 l’origine mais le titre \u00e9tant tellement bon il a fini non seulement par int\u00e9grer l’album puis par en devenir un des singles \u00ab impr\u00e9vus \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour l’album \u00ab DISCO INFINITO \u00bb, c’\u00e9tait exactement pareil avec le titre \u00ab Infinite Rats \u00bb. Beaucoup de personnes de mon entourage pr\u00e9f\u00e9raient \u00ab Infinite Rats \u00bb \u00e0 \u00ab Infinite Star \u00bb mais je voulais vraiment que \u00ab Infinite Star \u00bb soit un single aussi alors je me suis pourquoi choisir ? J’ai donc sorti les deux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comme pour le single de \u00ab Infinite Star \u00bb, la pochette a d\u00fb \u00eatre modifi\u00e9e pour les sites de streaming et de t\u00e9l\u00e9chargements l\u00e9gaux qui exigeaient que le nom de l’artiste soit sur la pochette, donc voici sa version alternative, mais pour moi, seule l’originale compte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J’\u00e9tais tr\u00e8s impatient de faire une version longue \u00ab disco mix \u00bb pour \u00ab Infinite Rats \u00bb car j’adore vraiment cette musique, ses sons sont assez magiques je trouve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le titre bonus \u00ab Infinite Animal \u00bb pr\u00e9sent dans ce single a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crit bien plus tard que l’album donc il a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crit dans la pr\u00e9cipitation mais il a assez bien tourn\u00e9 quand m\u00eame je trouve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il est int\u00e9ressant de noter que presque tous les titres bonus des singles de l’album \u00ab DISCO INFINITO \u00bb ont fini par avoir un son vraiment tr\u00e8s techno et \u00e9l\u00e9ctronique, bien plus que les titres de l’album mais comme \u00ab Rats \u00bb & \u00ab Star \u00bb \u00e9taient les derniers singles, ils vont bien avec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J’aurais pu continuer sur ce type de son tr\u00e8s \u00e9lectronique et tr\u00e8s techno pour le prochain album mais ce n’est pas vraiment ce que j’ai fait. Le prochain album sera assez techno \u00e9galement mais beaucoup moins \u00e9lectronique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il y aura un titre sur le prochain album qui sera tr\u00e8s tr\u00e8s \u00e9lectronique (il s’appellera \u00ab Prophetic Dreams \u00bb) mais le reste de l’album bien que techno sera moins \u00e9lectronique que ce titre-l\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si j’ai intensivement utiliser les s\u00e9quenceurs logiciels num\u00e9riques FL Studio et Studio One pour produire l’album \u00ab DISCO INFINITO \u00bb, pour le prochain album j’ai choisi d’utiliser Samplitude \u00e0 la place car je voulais un son plus techno et froid encore mais un peu moins \u00e9lectronique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J’avais d\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9 Samplitude par le pass\u00e9 pour un album appel\u00e9 \u00ab SUPERSONIC \u00bb qui paraitra peut-\u00eatre un jour en album gratuit et j’avais d\u00e9j\u00e0 pu appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 ses sons tr\u00e8s sympas. Aussi j’\u00e9tais tr\u00e8s excit\u00e9 \u00e0 l’id\u00e9e de l’utiliser \u00e0 nouveau pour produire un nouveau son pour le prochain album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tout le monde sera sans doute soulag\u00e9 d’apprendre que \u00ab Infinite Rats \u00bb marque la fin de ma p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 tous les titres commencent par le mot \u00ab Infinite \u00bb, ah ah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le prochain single s’appellera \u00ab King Of The Night \u00bb et ce sera \u00e9galement le titre du nouvel album. Le single sortira d’ici la fin du mois de septembre. L’album quant \u00e0 lui, suivra d\u00e9but octobre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais en attendant le single 3 titre de \u00ab Infinite Rats \u00bb est disponible \u00e0 la vente ou \u00e0 l’\u00e9coute sur mon site Bandcamp :<\/p>\n\n\n\n
