\u00ab\u00a0Infinite Wisdom\u00a0\u00bb is one of the gentless tracks I have ever done. But quite sophisticated as well I must say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some friends told me it sounded a bit like some Jean-Michel Jarre musics : the french pioneer of electronic music which I find both satisfying and proud. I love Jean-Michel JARRE’s music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lyrics of the track are about God, I talk to him directly in there. I have a somewhat strange and complicated relationship with religion. My mother prayed Jesus every night and was very religious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think that my father, my sisters and myself were not as religious as my mother but as a youngster I had faith too. Now I’m 50, things are a little bit different but I can’t put aside my religious education completely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So \u00ab\u00a0Infinite Wisdom\u00a0\u00bb is one of the rarest occasion in which I talk about God (or talk to God actually) in a song in a way so respectful and which could probably talk to every Catholic person in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe in a higher power whether it’s the God my mother told me about or another bigger part of ourselves, I don’t know. But I still chose to believe in something bigger than mankind because I feel there’s proof everywhere all around us of a greater existence that just little old \u00ab\u00a0us\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if there really is a high power, I really hope that this person or spirit or whatever is wiser than us, humans. Because if not, it would be a very depressing situation for our universe I think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The single remix is a rework of the original album version, made to be shorter and straight to the point. And the extended soft mix is a longer and more progressive approach on the track with a little bit more electronic at the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0Infinite Wisdom\u00a0\u00bb est un des titres les plus doux que j’ai jamais \u00e9crit, mais assez sophistiqu\u00e9 \u00e9galement c\u00f4t\u00e9 production je dois le dire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certaines personnes qui ont \u00e9cout\u00e9 ce morceau m’ont dit que \u00e7a leur rappelait des musiques de Jean-Michel JARRE : le pionnier fran\u00e7ais de la musique \u00e9lectronique, \u00e0 la fois je trouve cela \u00e0 la fois satisfaisant et j’en suis fier car j’aime la musique de Jean-Michel JARRE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les paroles de ce titre parlent de Dieu, je m’adresse directement \u00e0 lui\/elle dans le texte. j’ai une relation \u00e0 la fois \u00e9trange et compliqu\u00e9e par rapport \u00e0 la religion. Ma m\u00e8re, de son vivant, priait J\u00e9sus tous les soirs et elle \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s croyante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je pense que mon p\u00e8re, mes soeurs et moi-m\u00eame n’\u00e9tions pas aussi religieux qu’elle mais quand j’\u00e9tais jeune, j’\u00e9tais croyant \u00e9galement. Aujourd’hui que j’ai 50 ans, les choses sont un peu diff\u00e9rentes mais je ne peux pas ignorer et oublier compl\u00e8tement mon \u00e9ducation catholique re\u00e7ue dans ma jeunesse je suppose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et \u00ab\u00a0Infinite Wisdom\u00a0\u00bb est une des rares occasions o\u00f9 j’\u00e9voque Dieu (o\u00f9 je m’adresse \u00e0 Dieu m\u00eame) dans un morceau de fa\u00e7on aussi respectueuse mais qui pourrait aussi parler \u00e0 toute personne Catholique dans ce monde. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je crois qu’il existe une puissance sup\u00e9rieure, qu’il s’agisse du Dieu que ma m\u00e8re priait ou d’une plus grande part de nous m\u00eames ou compl\u00e8tement autre chose, je n’en sais rien. Mais je choisis de croire qu’il existe quelque chose de plus grand que les hommes car nous en avons des preuves tout autour de nous qu’il y a autre chose que juste, nous, les petits \u00ab\u00a0nous\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et s’il existe vraiment une puissance sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 l’homme dans l’univers, j’esp\u00e8re vraiment qu’il\/elle est plus sage et raisonnable que nous, les humains. Car sinon, ce serait une situation vraiment d\u00e9primante et tragique pour notre monde je trouve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La version single de \u00ab\u00a0Infinite Wisdom\u00a0\u00bb est une version plus courte que la version album, elle va droit au but, sans fioritures. La version longue \u00ab\u00a0Extended Soft Mix\u00a0\u00bb est, elle plus longue, a une approche plus progressive du morceau avec un peu plus un c\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e9lectronique plus accentu\u00e9 vers sa fin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
