On Friday, March 7th 2025 \u00ab\u00a0No Easy Feat\u00a0\u00bb, the 2nd and final single taken from the singles retrospective album \u00ab\u00a0SINGLES Volume 2\u00a0\u00bb was released : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. NO EASY FEAT extended version 5:58 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0No Easy Feat\u00a0\u00bb and previous single \u00ab\u00a0Play My Way\u00a0\u00bb were part of a 4-pack tracks E.P. that was written with extra-tracks \u00ab\u00a0Just Tell Me Why\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Alone But Not Lonely\u00a0\u00bb when I was trying to find a new sound for a brand new album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Especially after a very electronic and dance almost techno album such as \u00ab\u00a0CRAZY BEATS AND PIECES\u00a0\u00bb I wanted to offer something radically different. But since all following tracks were again very different, this idea of a brand new sound was let go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, I’m very proud of those tracks and I listen to them quite often because they’re so different than what the album \u00ab\u00a0CRAZY BEATS AND PIECES \u00a0\u00bb offered or what the next album offers too. It’s like a little 80’s bubble in my discography and I’m quite found of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But as everyone will see next month with the release of the 8th album’s brand new lead single, the direction of the next album will be completely different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0No Easy Feat\u00a0\u00bb et le single pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent \u00ab\u00a0Play My Way\u00a0\u00bb faisaient parti d’un E.P. de 4 titres que j’ai \u00e9crit avec leurs face B respectives \u00ab\u00a0Just Tell Me Why\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Alone But Not Lonely\u00a0\u00bb quand je recherchais un nouveau son pour l’un de mes nouveaux albums. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sp\u00e9cialement apr\u00e8s un album tr\u00e8s \u00e9lectronique, dance et presque techno comme l’album \u00ab\u00a0CRAZY BEATS AND PIECES\u00a0\u00bb je souhaitais offrir ensuite un son tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent. Mais les titres \u00e9crits qui suivirent \u00e9taient si diff\u00e9rent que ce style fut finalement abandonn\u00e9 par moi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais tout de m\u00eame je suis toujours tr\u00e8s fier de ces morceaux-l\u00e0 justement car ils sont assez diff\u00e9rents de mon style habituel de musique. Ils sont \u00e0 la fois diff\u00e9rent du style de l’album \u00ab\u00a0CRAZY BEATS AND PIECES \u00a0\u00bb mais aussi tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent du style du prochain album qui sortira le mois prochain. Mais j’aime toujours cette petite bulle tr\u00e8s ann\u00e9es 80 dans ma discographie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais comme vous pourrez tous les constater d\u00e8s le mois prochain, m\u00eame le 8\u00e8me album \u00e0 venir a un son encore une fois tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent de ces titres-l\u00e0. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
