\u00ab Lost Everything \u00bb : the 5th and final single from the 7th album \u00ab CRAZY BEATS AND PIECES \u00bb was released on Friday,
January 3rd 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the album only contained 8 tracks and not the usual 10 tracks of a standard The Edit King album I actually asked myself if I could still release 5 singles instead of only 4 or 3. But the album being that good, I decided that 5 singles was still a good idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s not like this album had a shortage of good tracks, on the contrary. But \u00ab\u00a0Lost Everything\u00a0\u00bb wasn’t supposed to be single at first. I thought about releasing \u00ab\u00a0Send Him To Valhalla\u00a0\u00bb or \u00ab\u00a0Hit Rock Bottom\u00a0\u00bb that’s why \u00ab\u00a0Lost Everything\u00a0\u00bb was on the \u00ab\u00a0Karma Drama\u00a0\u00bb E.P. as a remix at first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But so many people were impressed by \u00ab Lost Everything \u00bb at each and every listen that it finally became a single by default. Then I made 2 short mixes, the remix in Track 1 at first, then the one on the \u00ab Karma Drama \u00bb E.P. called logicially then \u00ab New Remix \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Track 2 \u00ab Pick Me Up When I Am Blue \u00bb wasn’t made at the same time of the album but I like it anyway. It hasn’t got the same kind of energy as \u00ab Lost Everything \u00bb but I love its positive nature so it became its b-side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like Track 4 of the \u00ab Karma Drama \u00bb E.P. is the 2nd short mix of \u00ab Lost Everything \u00bb, Track 4 here is the \u00ab Karma Drama \u00bb 2nd short mix, made after the 1st single remix. Even though the single remixes are better, these 2nd mixes are a little bit more fun and I love them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally Track 3 is the 2nd long version of \u00ab Lost Everything \u00bb, recorded much much later after the album original long version. With this mix I decided to have a little bit more fun too. I love the strange noise at 33 seconds at the start of this mix. As I said : fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puisque l’album ne comprenait que 8 morceaux et pas les 10 habituels d’un album de The Edit King, je me suis r\u00e9\u00e9llement pos\u00e9 la question de savoir si j’allais sortir 5 singles de cet album ou seulement 3 ou 4. Mais cet album \u00e9tant particuli\u00e8rement bon de mon point de vue, j’ai trouv\u00e9 qu’il pouvait \u00e9galement comporter 5 singles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Car ce n’est pas comme si cet album manquait de titres tr\u00e8s bons, bien au contraire. Mais \u00ab\u00a0Lost Everything\u00a0\u00bb n’\u00e9tait pas cens\u00e9 \u00eatre un single au d\u00e9but. J’ai pens\u00e9 \u00e0 un moment donn\u00e9 sortir \u00ab\u00a0Send Him To Valhalla\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0Hit Rock Bottom\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 la place, c’est pourquoi \u00ab\u00a0Lost Everything\u00a0\u00bb avait \u00e9t\u00e9 plac\u00e9 en tant que simple remix sur le Single\/E.P. de \u00ab\u00a0Karma Drama\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais tant de personnes \u00e0 qui je faisais \u00e9couter ce morceau semblaient impression\u00e9es par lui \u00e0 chaque \u00e9coute que \u00ab\u00a0Lost Everything\u00a0\u00bb est finalement devenu un single par lui-m\u00eame. Puis j’en ai fait 2 versions courtes. Une qui figure en titre 4 du Single\/E.P. de \u00ab\u00a0Karma\u00a0Drama \u00bb logiquement appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0New Remix\u00a0\u00bb et la 1\u00e8re version qui est devenu la version single ici en Titre 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le titre 2 \u00ab\u00a0Pick Me Up When I Am Blue\u00a0\u00bb n’a pas du tout \u00e9t\u00e9 faite au m\u00eame moment que cet album mais j’ai trouv\u00e9 que son \u00e9nergie et sa l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 rappel\u00e9e un peu celle de \u00ab\u00a0Lost Everything\u00a0\u00bb. Donc les mettre ensemble sur le m\u00eame Single\/E.P. faisait sens et c’est ainsi devenue sa face-B.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tout comme \u00ab\u00a0Karma Drama\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Lost Everything\u00a0\u00bb \u00e9tait un titr\u00e9 g\u00e9nial et amus\u00e9 \u00e0 remixer c’est pourquoi sans doute j’en ai fait autant de versions, parfaitement avec seulement quelques ajustements mineurs. Je m’amusais beaucoup \u00e0 les remixer car je les adore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalement le Titre 3 est la version longue \u00ab\u00a0Lost Everything\u00a0\u00bb, enregistr\u00e9e beaucoup plus tard que la version album. Avec ce mix j’ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de m’amuser encore un peu plus. Ce qui explique le son tr\u00e8s \u00e9trange mais qui m’\u00e9clate et que l’on retrouve dans ce morceau \u00e0 la 33\u00e8me seconde. Comme je l’ai dit : je me suis beaucoup amus\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
