On Friday, November 15th 2024 CD2 of Single 35 \u00ab Dance (All Through The Night) \u00bb was released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since \u00ab Dance \u00bb is one of my favorite tracks, it is probably the track I’ve remixed the more times. Of all the remixes done, only 5 of them were released. Tracks 3 & 4 were the first made after the album version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of these tracks, I keep the ending of track 3 for the single version \u00ab the sleek remix \u00bb and I experimented even more on track 4. Then I made the sleek short mix and then tracks 1 & 3 of CD 1 which were the definitive versions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finding a good single remix and a good extended remix is a very complicated thing to do since I’m a perfectionnist especially for a song that I love as much as I love \u00ab Dance \u00bb. \u00ab The Sleek Mix \u00bb and \u00ab The Extended Sleek Mix \u00bb are the ones I like the most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On track 2 I’ve made a short version of \u00ab Telephone Won’t Leave Me Alone \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love this record player sleeve very much. It’s a picture taken by Michelangelo Oprandi. Here for CD2 I inverted the colors of the sleeve. More of his protographs can be seen here : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I still feel to this day that \u00ab Dance (All Through The Night) \u00bb is one of the best tracks I’ve made. It was written during the Covid-19 pandemic and I’m very proud of it. And usually, everyone that hears this tracks loves it which makes it even more extra special to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everytime I write a brand new track, I hope for it to end up as good as this one, it’s a feel good tune, with a very simple melody but with a complex arrangement but the result is very catchy, I really love it very much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puisque \u00ab Dance \u00bb est un de mes titres favoris, c’est probablement l’un de mes morceaux que j’ai le plus remix\u00e9. De tous les remixes que j’ai fait, seuls 5 sont sortis, les autres se ressemblaient trop. Les titres 3 et 4 sont ceux qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 faits en premier tout de suite apr\u00e8s la version album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De ces 2 titres, j’ai gard\u00e9 la fin du titre 3 pour la version single officielle le \u00ab sleek remix \u00bb et j’ai exp\u00e9riment\u00e9 un peu plus sur le titre 4. Enfin j’ai fait le titre 1 que j’ai am\u00e9lior\u00e9 ensuite pour donner le titre 1 du CD 1 le \u00ab Sleek Mix \u00bb et sa version longue disponible sur le CD 1 le \u00ab Extended Sleek Mix \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finaliser une bonne version single et une bonne version extended sont les choses les plus compliqu\u00e9es qui soient surtout quand on aime \u00e9norm\u00e9ment un morceau comme j’aime \u00ab Dance \u00bb. Les versions \u00ab Sleek Mix \u00bb et \u00ab Extended Sleek Mix \u00bb sont mes versions pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sur le titre 2 de ce Single\/EP on retrouve en bonus la version courte du titre de l’album \u00ab Telephone Won’t Leave Me Alone \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J’aime beaucoup cette photo de la pochette avec un tourne disque dessus, je la trouve trop styl\u00e9e. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 prise par : Michelangelo Oprandi. Encore aujourd’hui je trouve que \u00ab\u00a0Dance (All Through The Night)\u00a0\u00bb est l’un des meilleurs morceaux que j’ai \u00e9crit. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crit pendant la pand\u00e9mie de Covid-19 et j’en suis tr\u00e8s fier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement toutes les personnes \u00e0 qui je fais \u00e9couter ce morceau l’aiment bien donc \u00e7a le rend encore plus sp\u00e9cial pour moi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A chaque fois que j’\u00e9cris un nouveau morceau je souhaite qu’il tourne aussi bien que ce morceau. C’est un morceau positif qui remonte le moral avec \u00e0 la fois une m\u00e9lodie tr\u00e8s simple et un arrangement tr\u00e8s complexe mais le tout est vraiment tr\u00e8s accrocheur. J’aime vraiment ce morceau \u00e9norm\u00e9ment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
