Friday, September 13th 2024, \u00ab\u00a0INtroDUCTION\u00a0\u00bb the 33rd single of The Edit King was released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1st single taken from the 7th album \u00ab\u00a0Crazy Beats And Pieces\u00a0\u00bb this singles contains the following tracks : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. INtroDUCTION new remix 3:30
2. VIVA A VIDA 3:52
3. INtroDUCTION extended new remix 5:30<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the track that opens the 7th album, \u00ab\u00a0INtroDUCTION\u00a0\u00bb is a very electronic and very energetic track that sets the mood and the tone for the new album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason why it is called \u00ab\u00a0INtroDUCTION\u00a0\u00bb and not \u00ab\u00a0Introduction\u00a0\u00bb is a wink in relation to the previous album. 6th album was called \u00ab\u00a0Retroactive Fire\u00a0\u00bb and if you eject the \u00ab\u00a0tro\u00a0\u00bb from the title you end up with \u00ab\u00a0INDUCTION\u00a0\u00bb : a word related to the fire wouldn’t you say, ah ah. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The b-side\/extra track for that single is the previously unreleased track called \u00ab\u00a0Viva A Vida\u00a0\u00bb : the only track I wrote with Portuguese lyrics. My parents being Portuguese, it’s a nod to them and especially my father who, loved that kind of positive music. The title would translate into something like \u00ab\u00a0Celebrating Life\u00a0\u00bb <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The track was written at the end of the writing process for the 6th album and just before I entered the writing process for the 7th album. As I didn’t fit both, I chose to keep it and a gap, a kind of link, between the two albums. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Track 3 is a brand new extended remix of the track \u00ab\u00a0INtroDUCTION\u00a0\u00bb made very recently because originally this single is the only one that didn’t had a different extended version than the album version. So I wanted a new remix to be made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I’m very glad about this new remix because after thinking about it I didn’t like the sound that starts this remix. So I kept it out of the new single remix. So I started this new remix with it on purpose so has not to have it in the whole new extended remix except at the start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En tant que titre qui ouvre le 7\u00e8me album on peut dire que \u00ab\u00a0INtroDUCTION\u00a0\u00bb est un titre tr\u00e8s \u00e9nergique et \u00e9lectronique qui donne tout de suite le ton et le style de ce nouvel album. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La raison pour laquelle se titre s’appelle ainsi stylis\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0INtroDUCTION\u00a0\u00bb et non pas \u00ab\u00a0Introduction\u00a0\u00bb c’est un clin d’oeil voulu au pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent album qui s’appelait \u00ab\u00a0Retroactive Fire\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Car si vous retirez la partie \u00ab\u00a0tro\u00a0\u00bb du titre, il reste le mot \u00ab\u00a0INDUCTION\u00a0\u00bb : un mot en relation avec le feu, ne diriez-vous pas, ah ah. \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La face B\/le titre bonus pour ce single est le titre in\u00e9dit appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Viva A Vida\u00a0\u00bb : le seul morceau que j’ai \u00e9crit avec des paroles Portugaises. Mes parents \u00e9taient Portugais, aussi c’est un clin d’oeil envers eux et surtout mon p\u00e8re, qui aimait ce genre de musique, tr\u00e8s l\u00e9g\u00e8re et positive. Le titre se traduirait par quelque chose comme \u00ab\u00a0C\u00e9l\u00e9brer La Vie \u00bb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce titre avait \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crit entre la toute fin de la p\u00e9riode d’\u00e9crire du 6\u00e8me album et le d\u00e9but de la p\u00e9riode d’\u00e9criture du 7\u00e8me album. Comme ce titre n’allait pas sur aucun d’entre eux, j’ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de garder ce titre comme un morceau pont entre les 2 albums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le titre 3 de ce single est un tout nouveau extended remix pour le morceau \u00ab\u00a0INtroDUCTION\u00a0\u00bb que j’ai produit tr\u00e8s r\u00e9cemment en fait car ce single \u00e9tait le seul de l’album qui n’avait pas un extended remix in\u00e9dit et diff\u00e9rent de la version album. Alors j’ai voulu faire une toute nouvelle version longue pour ce single. .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et si je suis tr\u00e8s heureux de cette nouvelle version longue, c’est parce qu’avec le temps, j’ai fni par ne pas aimer le son qui commence ce nouveau remix et aussi la raison pour laquelle, je ne l’ai pas int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 la version single et que je l’ai mis juste au tout d\u00e9but de ce nouveau remix mais nullepart ensuite dans ce titre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
