This album was made quite different from my other albums as it’s much less electronic ; it’s completely intended that way. My best friend told me at the time (right after I wrote the album \u00ab POP STORM \u00bb that I should try use less electronic sounds for once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I took it as a personal challenge. I wanted it to be a more quiet album, less hits oriented than \u00ab POP STORM \u00bb that I wrote in 2019 and I wrote \u00ab RETROACTIVE FIRE \u00bb in 2020. Also I’m glad it’s a very uplifting and positive record, especially after the darkness of some of the previous album \u00ab 5 \u00bb which was very electronic and quite dark ; so it was the obvious album to release right after \u00ab 5 \u00bb I think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But don’t worry, I’ll get back to full electronic for the next album. But this change of pace was a bit of relief for me for once. I also wanted this album to have a more 80’s feel than what I usually do. It’s almost a back to the first album too in a way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you take out tracks like \u00ab\u00a0My Uncontrollable friend\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0RetroActive Fire\u00a0\u00bb which are quite 90’s, 2000’s and more modern, this album has a rather \u00ab\u00a0retro\u00a0\u00bb feel. I did call it \u00ab\u00a0RETROactive fire\u00a0\u00bb for a reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s also my first The Edit King album release with the digital quality of recording studios, blu-ray audio discs and super audio cds : 24 bits, 48 khz. All my music will be released this way only from now on. And I might re-release all my previous albums this way too in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cet album, tel qu’il est construit, est tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent de mes autres albums ; il est bien moins \u00e9lectronique que les autres et c’\u00e9tait compl\u00e8tement voulu ainsi. Mon meilleur ami m’a dit \u00e0 l’\u00e9poque (tout de suite apr\u00e8s que j’ai enregistr\u00e9 mon album \u00ab POP STORM \u00bb que je devrais essayer d’utiliser des sons moins \u00e9lectroniques, pour changer un peu. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alors j’ai pris \u00e7a comme un d\u00e9fi personnel, un challenge int\u00e9ressant \u00e0 tester. Je voulais donc ce disque moins \u00e9lectronique et plus chill, plus calme avec sans doute un peu moins de titres tonitruants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aussi je suis tr\u00e8s heureux que c’est un album assez l\u00e9ger et positif, surtout apr\u00e8s l’album \u00ab 5 \u00bb, qui, lui, \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s \u00e9lectronique et pas mal dark, sombre, je pense. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais ne vous inqui\u00e9tez pas, je reviendrais vers de l’\u00e9lectronique \u00e0 fond les ballons d\u00e8s le prochain album. Mais ce changement de genre m’a fait un peu de bien, je l’avoue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je voulais aussi donner \u00e0 cet album un style plus ann\u00e9es 80 que ce que j’\u00e9cris normalelement. C’est un peu un retour aux sources du 1er album dans un sens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si vous retirez des titres comme \u00ab My Uncontrollable friend \u00bb ou \u00ab RetroActive Fire \u00bb qui font tr\u00e8s dance des ann\u00e9es 90 ou 2000 et un peu plus modern, le reste de l’album, lui, a un style plus \u00ab retro \u00bb. Je ne l’ai pas appel\u00e9 \u00ab RETROactive fire \u00bb sans raison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’est aussi le premier album de The Edit King album que je sors avec une qualit\u00e9 sonore digitalement remasteris\u00e9e digne des studios d’enregistrements, du disques blu-ray audio discs des super audio CDs : 24 bits, 48 khz. Tous mes titres sortiront ainsi d\u00e9sormais et il n’est pas impossible que je ne ressorte pas tous les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents albums remast\u00e9ris\u00e9s \u00e9galement ainsi dans un avenir proche. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
