\u00ab\u00a0This Ain’t No Quandary\u00a0\u00bb is with \u00ab\u00a0Caught Me By Surprise\u00a0\u00bb one of my favorite tracks ever from the 5th album. Even if it doesn’t sound anything like it, it was inspired to me by some old Kim Wilde tracks like \u00ab\u00a0Never Trust A Stranger\u00a0\u00bb. I just love these sounds and I would picture Kim sing it very well in my \u00ab\u00a0wildest\u00a0\u00bb dreams. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nowadays I always write 15 to 16 songs for each album, knowing damn well that 5 or 6 of them will be released as b-sides to the singles. But the time when I wrote \u00ab\u00a05\u00a0\u00bb, I only wrote 12 songs instead of 15. But this b-side is one of the very few (with the one of the next single) that was written at the same time of the album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s why track 2 \u00ab\u00a0I Might As Well Be Dead\u00a0\u00bb is as electronic as the album. But the b-sides of all the previous \u00ab\u00a05\u00a0\u00bb singles were written before or much later than the album. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love all versions of \u00ab\u00a0This Ain’t No Quandary\u00a0\u00bb and the extended mix \u00ab\u00a0the big dilemma mix\u00a0\u00bb as well as the album version are no exception. I had a lot of fun writting and remixing those tracks. I still, to this day, think of \u00ab\u00a0This Ain’t No Quandary\u00a0\u00bb as one of my best songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 5th and last single from the album \u00ab\u00a05\u00a0\u00bb will be released next month just before a brand new single will be released on March and album number 6 in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00eame si il ne sonne en rien comme elle, ce titre m’a \u00e9t\u00e9 inspir\u00e9 par des vieux titres de Kim Wilde comme \u00ab\u00a0Never Trust A Stranger\u00a0\u00bb. J’adore vraiment les sons utilis\u00e9s dans ces morceaux and j’imaginerais bien Kim chanter ma chanson dans mes r\u00eaves les plus fous. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n

G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement aujourd’hui j’\u00e9cris en permanence entre 15 et 16 titres pour tout nouvel album, sachant pertinemment que 5 ou 6 de ces morceaux se retrouveront en face B des singles du m\u00eame album. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais au moment o\u00f9 j’ai \u00e9crit l’album \u00ab\u00a05\u00a0\u00bb, j’ai justement \u00e9crit 12 morceaux au lieu de 15. Mais cette face B-ci is une des 2 seuls titres \u00e9crits r\u00e9ellement au m\u00eame moment que l’album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’est la raison pour laquelle le titre 2 de ce single \u00ab\u00a0I Might As Well Be Dead\u00a0\u00bb est aussi \u00e9l\u00e9ctronique que le contenu de l’album vu qu’ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crits au moment moment. alors que les faces B des 3 premiers singles de \u00ab\u00a05\u00a0\u00bb ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crits soit bien avant soit bien apr\u00e8s cet album. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

J’aime toutes les versions de \u00ab\u00a0This Ain’t No Quandary\u00a0\u00bb et cette version longue \u00ab\u00a0the big dilemma mix\u00a0\u00bb ainsi que la version album n’y font pas exception. Je me suis beaucoup amus\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9crire et remixer ces morceaux. Et encore aujourd’hui j’estime que \u00ab\u00a0This Ain’t No Quandary\u00a0\u00bb est et restera un de mes meilleurs titres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le 5\u00e8me et dernier single extrait de l’album \u00ab\u00a05\u00a0\u00bb sortira le mois prochain juste avant la sortie du prochain single in\u00e9dit en mars et du 6\u00e8me album qui para\u00eetre au mois d’avril.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
