My 5th FREE album ALGO-RHYTHMS was released on Monday, September 18th 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally written in 2000, it’s another full lengh CD album (if you include the remixes). Like the previous FREE album 21ST CENTURY, I wrote it exclusively on YAMAHA’s synthesizer DJX-1 (PSR-D1) : the difference being I mastered now its use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This album is a little more pop and enthusiastic than its predecessor as prooves the first track \u00ab\u00a0You And I\u00a0\u00bb which makes extensive use of its sampling-part component just like tracks \u00ab\u00a0Here For You\u00a0\u00bb or \u00ab\u00a0Stay With Me (In My Reality)\u00a0\u00bb did in the last FREE album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of my FREE albums, the ones already published and the ones to come, THIS is my favorite of them all. I view it as my masterpiece. I wanted 1 out of 2 tracks to be a smash and I think I almost succeeded. It’s near perfect to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course with today’s technology I am able to do much better now, but I still find it fresh and very enjoyable, even by today’s standards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I called this album algo-rhythms (but with rhythm written like the music beat : I always love a good pun) because, even though I hate maths, always did, I thought that this was the most complicated album I ever made, at least, at the time of production. Not because it was very hard or difficult to do but because it was my most ambitious and daunting project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hesitated with this alternate cover but at the time of release I thought the full white background made it even more visually striking, especially after the previous cover which was full of colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope everyone will like this album, as much as I do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De tous mes albums gratuits, ceux qui sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 publi\u00e9s et y compris ceux \u00e0 venir, CELUI-CI est mon pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 de tous, pour moi c’\u00e9tait vraiment mon chef d’oeuvre. Je voulais qu’un titre sur deux soit un tube et ma foi, j’y suis presque arriv\u00e9, je trouve. Cet album est presque parfait pour moi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bien s\u00fbr avec la technology d’aujourd’hui je suis capable de faire bien mieux mais malgr\u00e9 cela, je le trouve toujours aussi frais et agr\u00e9able \u00e0 \u00e9couter qu’\u00e0 l’\u00e9poque de sa cr\u00e9ation et il n’a rien \u00e0 envier \u00e0 certains albums beaucoup plus r\u00e9cents que lui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J’ai appel\u00e9 cet album algo-rhythms (mais avec le mot anglais \u00e9crit rhythm comme le rythme de la musique : j’aime toujours faire des jeux de mots) parce que, bien que je d\u00e9teste les maths, j’ai toujours d\u00e9test\u00e9 \u00e7a, j’ai pens\u00e9 que c’\u00e9tait l’album le plus complexe que j’ai jamais fait, du moins, \u00e0 l’\u00e9poque. Ce n’est pas qu’il a \u00e9t\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement compliqu\u00e9 \u00e0 produire, mais c’\u00e9tait \u00e0 l’\u00e9poque mon album le plus ambitieux et le plus abouti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au moment de le sortir, j’ai h\u00e9sit\u00e9 \u00e0 utiliser la pochette ci-dessous, mais \u00e0 la derni\u00e8re minute, j’ai pens\u00e9 que la pochette toute blanche \u00e9tait beaucoup plus int\u00e9ressante et surprenante visuellement, surtout apr\u00e8s la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente pochette d’album gratuit qui \u00e9taient pleine de couleurs diff\u00e9rentes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
