\u00ab Take Life By Storm \u00bb is the first song of the fourth album and one of the songs I’m the most proud of even though it wasn’t an easy process to perfect it. I’ve made loads of adjustements to it over time but these are finally the versions I’m the most proud of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has so many elements (a furiously electronic sound, a panflute, a 90’s dance beat) that it was a real challenge to try to marry all the differents elements without any of them taking over. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was supposed to be the first single taken from the album but it was before I wrote \u00ab Spinning In Your Grave \u00bb and fell in love with it. But still, it’s still one of my favorite tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has that perfect blend of electronic and both dark and dance elements that I love and this is the template of the more dark and electronic set of songs to come in the next album. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Like There’s No Tomorrow \u00bb even though it marries well with …Storm is a much more old track. \u00ab Take Life By Storm \u00bb was written by me in 2019 and \u00ab Like There’s No Tomorrow \u00bb was written 10 years before in 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was originally taken from an 10-track album called \u00ab MASSIVE \u00bb that I wrote in 2009. It is one of the very few (3 or 4) of my albums that I don’t intend to publish because it was technically inferior quality-wise to what I’m doing right now as The Edit King.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wrote it before I even used MIDI and computers on my music. But since I’m very much in love with some of those songs, they will appear here and there as extra-tracks on single progressively as I up-to-date them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love \u00ab Like There’s No Tomorrow \u00bb very much. Just like \u00ab Take Life By Storm \u00bb it is very electronic and a little bit dark too. But it has melancholy when …Storm has none. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next and final single taken from the album \u00ab POP STORM \u00bb will be released next month, as usual, so keep looking. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Take Life By Storm \u00bb est le premier titre du 4\u00e8me album ainsi que l’un des titres dont je suis le plus fier. M\u00eame si cela n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 un morceau simple \u00e0 perfectionner. Il a fallu de tr\u00e8s nombreux ajustements sur plusieurs ann\u00e9es avant ces versions finales dont je suis tr\u00e8s fier. .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It comprend tellement d’\u00e9l\u00e9ments g\u00e9niaux et essentiels (un son furieusement \u00e9lectronique, une m\u00e9lodie \u00e0 la flute de pan et une batterie dance comme on en faisant dans les ann\u00e9es 90) que c’\u00e9tait vraiment gal\u00e8re de bien marier ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments sans qu’aucun ne prenne le dessus sur l’autre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce titre \u00e9tait cens\u00e9 \u00eatre le 1er single extrait de l’album tellement j’en \u00e9tais fier d\u00e8s que je l’ai \u00e9crit mais \u00e7a c’\u00e9tait avant que je n’\u00e9crive le titre \u00ab Spinning In Your Grave \u00bb pour l’album et que j’en tombe fou amoureux. Mais c’est quand un de mes titres favoris quand m\u00eame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce titre a ce parfait m\u00e9lange entre \u00e9lectronic + un c\u00f4t\u00e9 dark et dance \u00e0 la fois que j’adore et c’est ce type de m\u00e9lange qui pr\u00e9vaudra \u00e9galement sur le prochain album (le 5\u00e8me du nom) qui sera aussi dark et \u00e9lectronique, si ce n’est plus encore que ce titre-ci. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00eame si le titre \u00ab Like There’s No Tomorrow \u00bb se marrie bien avec…Storm C’est un morceau bien plus ancien. \u00ab Take Life By Storm \u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crit par moi en 2019 et \u00ab Like There’s No Tomorrow \u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crit 10 ans avant en 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A l’origine il faisait partie d’un album de 10 ans qui s’appelait \u00ab MASSIVE \u00bb que j’ai \u00e9crit en 2009. Cet album fait partie des (3 or 4) de mes albums que je ne compte pas publier publiquement tout simplement car techniquement sa qualit\u00e9 est trop inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 ce que je produit aujourd’hui sous mon pseudonyme The Edit King.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J’ai \u00e9crit ces morceaux bien avant d’utiliser le MIDI ou l’informatique dans ma musique. Mais puisque j’adore vraiment certains de ses morceaux, certains d’entre eux (la plus grande majorit\u00e9 d’entre eux) vont appara\u00eetre en faces B ou en titres bonus sur les singles \u00e0 venir au fur et \u00e0 mesure que j’am\u00e9liorerais ces morcaux un par un bien s\u00fbr. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais vraiment j’aime \u00e9norm\u00e9ment \u00ab Like There’s No Tomorrow \u00bb. Il a aussi ce m\u00e9lange d’\u00e9lectronique et de dance qu’a …Storm auquel il ajoute un petit c\u00f4t\u00e9 m\u00e9lancolique que \u00ab Take Life By Storm \u00bb, lui, n’a pas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le 5\u00e8me et dernier single extrait de l’album \u00ab POP STORM \u00bb sortira le moins prochain. Alors comme d’habitude, restez alertes. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n
